Audiences Unlimited, Inc. (AUI) is pleased to announce the Agen Family Trio Concert, featuring Addison Agen. This benefit concert will be held on Saturday, June 24th at 6PM at the Arts United Center. The performance will celebrate music throughout the decades and highlight the inspiring service Addison Agen and her family provided to the community through Audiences Unlimited, a local nonprofit.
Before Addison Agen auditioned for The Voice, the young star’s early musical journey included singing for community members whose health was declining. Her mother, Tinea Agen, a certified music therapist, regularly performed with AUI and often brought her children along. They designed performances to bring joy and spark memories for people whose health limited their ability to access Fort Wayne’s thriving arts scene.
“So much of Addison’s story is based from my work at Audiences Unlimited,” Tinea Agen wrote. “There were days when Addison would go to two to four nursing homes a day with me!”
“We’re thrilled to have been an early part of Addison’s musical journey and are honored that the family wants to continue to give back to us in this way,” Anna Ross, executive director of AUI, said.
