Audiences Unlimited is delighted to welcome Alyssa Semak as our new Audiences Unlimited Manager! Alyssa brings a rich blend of nonprofit experience, creative energy, and heartfelt passion for connecting people through the arts.
With a background that spans organizations such as Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Alyssa has spent her career creating meaningful, joy-filled experiences for individuals and families of all ages and abilities. Whether coordinating wish trips across the country or organizing accessible recreation programs for children and adults with neuromuscular diseases, Alyssa’s work has always centered on the human touch — finding ways to make every interaction personal and memorable.
A lifelong lover of the arts, Alyssa traces her passion back to her childhood visits to the Embassy Theatre. “I remember walking into the theatre as a kid — it felt magical,” she recalled. “That sense of wonder stayed with me. I want to help others feel that same spark, whether they’re sitting in a concert hall or experiencing the arts in their own community space.”
In her new role, Alyssa provides administrative and program management for Audiences Unlimited—coordinating logistics, partnerships, and performance programming alongside the Embassy’s chief programming officer and the Audiences Unlimited coordinator. She’s excited to deepen existing relationships with partner facilities and explore new ways to reach audiences who may not have regular access to the arts.
“Art has the power to reach people where they are — emotionally, physically, spiritually,” Alyssa said. “My goal is to expand that reach beyond traditional venues, creating meaningful cultural moments for everyone, regardless of circumstance or ability.”
Alyssa’s vision includes expanding partnerships beyond Allen County and strengthening connections with community organizations such as Turnstone and LADA, ensuring that Audiences Unlimited continues to serve diverse populations across northeast Indiana. Her approach is simple yet powerful: build relationships, listen deeply, and bring the arts to those who need them most.
