Thursday, July 12, 2023, marked the crowning celebration of what can only be described as a wonderful year commemorating all the ways Audiences Unlimited has been making the arts accessible to all.

Our Inclusion Mural is the first of its kind in Fort Wayne, the first to reach out intentionally to individuals with disabilities and invite them to be part of the public arts process. In that sense, our Inclusion Mural was the perfect way to cap off our 50th celebration year.

We were thrilled to host Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry, who participated in the completion and dedication of the Fort Wayne Inclusion Mural and then recognized AUI’s work and legacy by officially proclaiming July 12 “Audiences Unlimited, Inc. 50th Anniversary Day.”  (Read his Mayoral Proclamation below.)

“We can’t begin to express our thanks to everyone who made this celebration possible: our artists, Mayor Henry, the AWS Foundation, Turnstone, Fletcher Van Gilder, and of course all of our AUI friends and supporters,” said Anna Ross, AUI executive director. “It was so special to experience this day with you, and we look forward to all that remains in store for Audiences Unlimited!”
